Why Attendance Matters in District 60

At D60, it is our collective responsibility as leaders, educators, families and community members to ensure that our students not only succeed, but thrive, developing the skills and dispositions to lead lives of purpose and impact.

Minnequa Elementary School scholars recently engaged with the mobile Young AmeriTowne, an award-winning educational program that imparts the basics of business, economics and free enterprise in an interactive and hands-on manner: namely, giving the scholars the opportunity to occupy and run a virtual city.
